Yeah I've heard most other teachers are a lot easier. Not saying to take the easy way out but seriously, I dreaded going into his class every day of my life because he was so harsh. I thought he said to try our best and I think everyone for the most part was. I thought that meant that if you tried your hardest, you would get an A. Guess not. I just didn't feel inspired at all. That last critique day we had, were we allowed to leave after he was finished critiquing right? 'Cause I was like "WHOO HOO!" ready to bust outta there and I pretty much did after our session was over.

Most of the art classes I have has background music, and talking isn't not allowed, so as long as you're doing something on the paper. Totally agree! I'm like, shy for 5 minutes but then I'm kind of long winded and loud, haha.
