Meditation I
I am
Adam before the fall,
naming the ineffable and
speaking to the godperson.
Deification achieved,
I am
mens, corpus, animaque
a trinity of humanity.
I am
an ocean of consciousness,
a body of continents
a transcendent house of clouds,
I encompass all of myself.
I recognize the godperson
in myself.
But before revelations of myself as sacred,
I was prostrate, defeated by my own self image.
Dark thoughts and foreign opinions governed my mind,
Fragmented like a shattered
household. Like a father distant from a son,
I
(divided by self-repulsion,
a sea of vanity)
grew distant
from
myself.

Re: Meditation I
Hmm, why did I notice this on your tumblr before even here? BUT it is a really great poem and easier to comprehend.
