What languages do you speak fluently or which ones are you in the process of learning?
English and Latin for fluently and in a slow, lazy process of learning German.

Re: Language
In High School I used to take Ebonics. But I dropped out for being a "ill cracker fo' sho". I guess since I don't know what that means that they were right to kick me out. That is one of the reasons why I had to leave the Immaculate Conception School.

四年に便居した。でも、たくさん日本語わすれた。D:
I studied Japanese for four years but forgot it.
Boo.
Hopefully I get to go overseas when I graduate art school and not do art related things. Woop woop woop.
Oh, I speak English too. A really poor version that sounds part jewish part jibberish part Engrish.
I've made fun of Engrish so much that sometimes I mix up my r's and l's now fffffuuuu

Re: Language
I took Japanese my Freshman and Sophomore years, but I failed second semester of my Sophomore year and forgot mostly everything. ^^; At least word wise. I remember most of the hiragana and katakana symbols. We did learn ten or fifteen kanji but I've long forgotten those.
Boshi ga daisuke desu. I love hat.
I still have my worksheets and papers from Japanese, so I guess one day when I'm not so lazy I could use those as a re-learning reference. The nice thing about taking two years of Japanese is that I can get a beginners book and probably be mostly okay and unconfused if I attempted to re-teach myself. Japanese can just be really confusing when it comes to sentence structure when you're putting more than a couple idea's down in a sentence. That and sentence particles. Ew sentence particles. But yeah, the only language I know fluently is English. Yaaaay English! Edit:: Er, I did take Spanish in 8th grade, but I failed it with flying colors so..don't know much of that.

xD Some hippie schools in CA have been trying to get Ebonics taught in class. It's kinda funny and I think it would be awesome stupid.

okay i understand you, but your japanese words are a bit strange.
Mine probably are also, but you used "便居" for Benkyou while it sounds similar, (bin kyo and benkyou) bin kyo is two different kanji with "便" meaning convenience (i think) and "居" meaning exist (again not 100% i am bad with kanji).
Benkyou is written "勉強” using the kanji for exertion "勉" and strong "強".
the rest of the sentence i understood it no problems.
I need to find someone to japanese write to or something, so i can practice more often.

Yeah...
Don't feel bad. I'm in the same boat as yourself, but I was pretty good at Spanish. Then, I got out of school, and never used any of it, for like, 3 years. I still know a bit, but woo.

Re: Language
私は日本語の二年生です。来年の夏、日本に行くと思いますよ。私の友達は来月に日本にいきます。日本のヴィサはかわいですよ。
Watashi wa nihongo no ninenseidesu. Rainen no natsu, nihon ni iku to omoimasuyo. Watashi no tomodachi wa raigetsu ni nihon ni ikimasu. nihon no visa wa kawaidesuyo.
I am a second year Japanese student. Next summer, I think I will go to Japan. My friend is going to Japan next month. The Japanese visa is cute.
Man, that took a while... And I forgot the Japanese word for visa. Or "Alien registration card," technically. We just covered it in class too. Oh well.
I also took 3 years of Spanish in high school, but I've forgotten most of it. Except when I'm looking for the Japanese phrase that means the same thing. THEN I remember my Spanish.
I obviously speak English, and I've taught myself Al Bhed, from FFX. Yes, I know. If you meet me in person and I do something stupid, I'll probably cuss in Al Bhed.
I'm actually hoping to teach Japanese... eventually. I've still got a year and a half of college left, and then I have to jump through more hoops. Exciting.

I feel like a tard. Now the kanji you wrote looked familiar.
It's been a year and a half since my high school days.
I still have all my notes and everything.
I need to practice more. Gyuuh D:

LOL don't feel tardish, i just recently got back into practicing japanese again... i stopped for a few months and forgot some of it so i am like analyzing and trying to make as many sentences as i can whenever i can.
I have used the wrong spelling or wording when typing in japanese all the time, especially with kanji, i actually know very little kanji and have to look them up almost anytime i use them.

Haha me too. Unless it's obvious ones like numbers or animals. Those seem to be my easiest. x.x
Re: Language
I wanna go for sign language.
I have another friend who is taking it and it'd be pretty fun to sign to each other while at work.

Re: Language
I'm in the process of learning French and Japanese, while I obviously am fluent in English.
French is in school, and this is the first year I have actually been LEARNING the language since I was blessed to land a very good teacher. Just this half year I have learned a good crap load.
Japanese I am teaching myself, by anime (lols) I have learned a lot that surprises me. I also try to say things I want to say in Japanese when I'm by myself. Like, "I'm hungry" or "I really hate when I have to do this." Little things like that. I hope to seriously learn it as a major one day, after I get my degrees for the rest of my life.

Update for myself? I passed that class ultimately and got a PhD in Classics; so now I can technically read French and German, speak basic Modern Greek, read Latin and Ancient Greek, and mostly read Spanish. :) Neat stuff.
